Space Center Houston Hosts an Historic Exhibit for a Limited Time

This wonderful in-depth display that puts you into the pilot seat of the most famous moon mission in American history is in its final days of showing at Space Center Houston, so come explore it all while you can!

This fascinating exhibition features the Apollo 11 command module alongside the Apollo 17 command module, inviting visitors to see the unprecedented pairing of the space capsules for both the first and last lunar landings. This show also has more than 20 one-of-a-kind Apollo 11 mission artifacts, some of which flew on the historic Apollo 11 mission. They include the hatch, the F-1 injector plate, a lunar sample return container, astronaut Buzz Aldrin’s extravehicular visor and gloves, astronaut Michael Collins’ Omega Speedmaster Chronograph, a star chart, survival kit and so much more!

The exhibition is the first leg of a national tour of the Apollo 11 command module commemorating the 50th anniversary of the extraordinary achievement of man’s first step on the moon, so make sure you celebrate with this monumental display at Space Center Houston!
