Stretch Those Legs and Climb to the Top of a 51-Story Building During a Fundraising Event

Help eradicate cancer when you attend this event! On Saturday, be sure to check out the Big Climb Houston sponsored by Planet Fitness, a fun and physical way to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by bringing friends and family together in support of one mission: to end cancer. Check it out this Saturday, May 18th beginning at 8:00 a.m.

This vertical stair climb takes you up 51 floors to the top of Brookfield Properties' 1600 Smith Street in downtown Houston to fund life-saving research for blood cancer patients. This May, hundreds of participants will climb to the top of the building, stop and get refreshed, gawk at the view from the top, do a little dance at the end, and – most importantly – help save lives.

Stairclimbing is the new marathon, and fundraising is known to give you warm fuzzies. Big Climb Houston allows each one of its participants to help make a difference in the lives of blood cancer patients and their families. Once you’ve reached the top, you can even enjoy a post-climb party with family and friends with snacks, beer, games, and music!

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is at the forefront of the fight to cure cancer. The Society is the largest nonprofit dedicated to creating a world without blood cancers. Since 1949, LLS has invested nearly $1.3 billion in groundbreaking research, pioneering many of today’s most innovative approaches.

Support a worthy cause and score a once-in-a-lifetime ticket to the top of 1600 Smith Street when you participate in Big Climb Houston 2019! Registration is $30, and participants must raise $100 in donations. For more information about rules and the schedule of events, visit www.bigclimbhouston.org.
